This wine tour it’s a full-sensory journey into the heart of one of the world’s oldest wine regions. With your private guide, explore family-run Quintas, enjoy a scenic river cruise, and taste your way through wines, olive oils, and regional dishes. From vineyard-covered hills to calm river waters, every moment is designed for slow appreciation, deep connection, and unforgettable flavors.

Key highlights

Drive towards the Douro valley in a comfortable Mercedes Van, with a small group of maximum 8 people, while appreciating the spectacular landscapes and views that the Douro region offers

On the way, short stop at a secret viewpoint to take some wonderful photos and enjoy the panoramic view.

Visit one carefully selected family-owned wineries, with guided tastings of Port and Douro wines where you will learn in detail about the wine culture, the winemaking and the aging of the wine. Learn about the technical specifications of the Douro wines, while tasting them and feeling all their aromas and different flavors.

After this stop, you will have the opportunity to navigate during one hour along the Douro River in a traditional boat, admire the beauty of the impressive views at the heart of the Douro valley, accompanying the moment with some traditional snacks and of course, with a local drink.

After an unforgettable ride along the river, you will go to another exclusive family winery, where we will enjoy a delicious traditional homemade Portuguese lunch, accompanied by wines that are produced in this same winery.
